20140508 – Watson

She just stood there, she’s absolutely riveted.
She could not wander off.
She could not escape.

Gradually, the rain falls down.
A somber weather, to which she frown.
The disheartening thought of being in between,
what seems to be right and wrong now isn’t clear.

For a moment there,
the Aurora lights were up and shining.
For  a moment there,
joie de vivre would not stop playing.
For a moment there,
the battle waged does not last.
But that’s the difference of all this is,
for all the said happy moments happened too fast.

She just stood there, she’s absolutely riveted.
She could not wander off.
She could not escape – it.

20131004 – Both Sides of the Story

She never failed to mention that it was nothing,
And he never failed to think that it was not.
Of all the quips and quirks that forged their friendship,
Well all they seem be is stuck.

She wanted freedom.
He wanted entanglement.
She thought it was a mess.
He thought it was happiness.
She’s an indulgent fairy.
He’s a hopeless romantic.
She never failed to say
that she was not a concept,
He never failed to think
that she could be the answer.

She was cynical.
He was hopeful.
She has a wall built.
She was unsure of everyone.
He was valiant.
He remained standing outside her door.
As fate would put it,
they were not set in stone.
The potential of how they could be –
The possibility of that even happening –
All of it now has fallen motionless.

She never failed to mention that it was nothing,
And he never failed to think that it was not.
Today tables have turned,
She is hopeful.
He is skeptic.
